1. Gentle Daily Exfoliation (Gluconolactone — The PHA Difference)

Pores look larger when they're filled with dead cells, oil and dirt. Gluconolactone (a Polyhydroxy Acid or PHA) gently dissolves the dead surface cells that fill pores — without ever irritating the skin underneath. Unlike AHAs and BHAs, PHAs have larger molecules that work only on the topmost layer, which means all the exfoliation benefits, none of the redness or peeling. Bonus: PHAs are also humectants, so they hydrate while they exfoliate.

2. Sebum Regulation at the Source (Niacinamide)

Excess sebum flowing through a pore stretches it over time, making it look permanently larger. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) works directly on the sebaceous glands to regulate oil production — less oil flow means less stretching, which means tighter-looking pore openings. It also fades dullness, evens skin tone and strengthens the skin barrier.

3. Natural Sebum Mattification (Sebocytine / Rosa Canina)

Sebocytine is a botanical extract from Rosa Canina (rosehip) that acts as a natural sebum regulator. Absorb: Lightly pat with fingertips for 15–20 seconds until fully absorbed (about 30 seconds total).
Lock In: Follow with the Oil-Free Gel Hydration (recommended for oily/combination skin). Morning: always finish with SPF 50.

So when we set out to build this serum, we had to ask a harder, more honest question: what CAN you actually do for pore appearance?
