Inside Every Spray — Three UV Filters + Real Skincare"
1. Octyl Methoxycinnamate (UV-B Filter)
UV-B Defence • Liposomal Encapsulation
The most widely used UV-B filter globally — clinically validated for protecting skin against the rays that cause sunburn and DNA damage. In this formula, it's delivered through liposomal encapsulation, which keeps it on the skin's surface where it works while preventing intradermal absorption into the bloodstream.
2. Avobenzone (UV-A + UV-B Filter)
UV-A Defence • Anti-Ageing UV Protection
The most effective broad-spectrum UV-A filter approved for use globally. Critical because UV-A is what causes the deep dermal damage that ages skin (fine lines, sagging, age spots) — and it penetrates through glass, clouds and even thin clothing. Avobenzone is what makes this a true broad-spectrum sunscreen.
3. Octocrylene (UV-B + Short UV-A Filter + Stabiliser)
UV-B Defence • Filter Stabiliser • Long-Lasting Protection
Does double duty — provides UV-B and shorter UV-A protection while also stabilising Avobenzone (which can degrade in sunlight without it). This is why the formula's SPF protection lasts longer than single-filter sunscreens.
4. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
Tone-Evening • Barrier-Strengthening • Anti-Pigmentation
A dermatologist favourite that pairs beautifully with sunscreen. Niacinamide fades existing sun-induced dark spots while preventing new ones from forming, strengthens the skin barrier so it's more resilient against UV stress, and supports overall skin tone and texture over weeks of consistent use.
5. 21 Dead Sea Minerals
Re-Mineralising • Antioxidant • Nourishing
The Seasoul signature — a 100% authentic mineral complex sourced from the world's saltiest sea. Rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium, bromide and zinc, these minerals provide antioxidant support against UV-generated free radicals (the cellular damage UV causes at the molecular level) and nourish stressed, sun-exposed skin.
6. Glycerin
Hydrating • Soothing
A skin-loving humectant that draws moisture into the skin's upper layers. Keeps the formula gentle, prevents dryness from the chemical UV filters, and adds a layer of daily hydration so this sunscreen feels comforting rather than drying.
How Much SPF Do You Actually Need? (The Honest Answer)
SPF numbers are confusing. Here's what they actually mean, and why SPF 50 is the sweet spot for Indian skin.
SPF Level
Blocks UV-B
Best For
SPF 15
~93%
Minimal indoor exposure (not enough for daily use in India)
SPF 30
~97%
Standard daily use, gentle sun exposure
SPF 50
~98%
Daily Indian sun exposure — the sweet spot ★
SPF 100
~99%
Marketing claim — diminishing returns beyond SPF 50
Bottom line: SPF 50 blocks 98% of UV-B rays and is the dermatologist-recommended standard for daily Indian sun exposure. SPF 100 only adds 1% more protection but often comes with heavier textures.
