Step-by-Step Application:

Wet Hair Thoroughly: Start with completely wet hair — water helps the actives distribute properly across the scalp.
Dispense Onto Scalp Directly: A small amount (roughly a 10-rupee-coin size) applied directly to the scalp, NOT poured onto hair length. Clarifying shampoos work on the SCALP — hair length absorbs the rinse-off effect, but applying directly to the length can dry out the ends.
Massage Gently for 2-3 Minutes: Use fingertips (not nails) to massage the shampoo into the scalp in circular motions. The 2-3 minutes gives the actives time to lift buildup. Don't scrub aggressively.
Rinse Thoroughly: Wash off completely with lukewarm water. Any residue can cause itching or further buildup.
⚠ Always Condition: Apply a moisturising conditioner to hair length and ends (NOT scalp). This is non-negotiable — clarifying shampoos strip moisture, conditioner restores it. Without this step, hair feels dry and brittle.
Optional Mask: Once a month, follow the clarifying shampoo with a deep-conditioning hair mask for maximum recovery.

Correct Frequency:

1-2 times per WEEK. NEVER daily.
If you have:
Very oily scalp + buildup-heavy styling → 2x per week works
Normal scalp + minimal styling product use → 1x per week is enough
Dry scalp or color-treated hair → start with 1x per week, monitor scalp response
Sensitive scalp → start with 1x every 2 weeks, slowly build to weekly if tolerated
